Slow To Respond – DigiScrap 101

You may have noticed the above snapshot in my Project Life last week… oh the joys of computer woes…
You’ve probably also noticed the slowness of posts around here. I’d really love to write more, but the beach ball is constantly fighting with Mac in Finder, Lightroom, Photoshop, and especially Mail… Everything is taking about 5 times as long as it should.
It’s finally time to surrender Mac to the Geniuses. Ever since I’ve upgraded to Lion they’ve replaced a hard drive, a cable – basically everything except the logic board which is on the schedule for this week. Next on the list? “Stress test the crap out of it” - that was a direct quote from my Apple Genius.
Speaking of Apple Geniuses, our new local store has an awesomely helpful genius from South Africa with a fabulous accent. It’s so good that when he says stuff like, “Your iPod Touch is toast” you can’t help but smile and say, “Ok, can I buy a new one?”  Well not really, but that beautiful accent sure makes gadget woes easier to swallow…
Well, here’s to hoping that the next unproductive 3-5 days with Mac at the Apple Spa are worth it… Technically Mac really does deserve a vacation, I mean the poor thing works non-stop.
Makes me almost want to bring home one of the faster than a MacPro iMacs… Yet knowing my budget I’ll just drool as I walk by. Yep Mac will still be my one and only for quite some time.
